A Billing Executive manages the entire invoicing cycle, from preparing accurate bills and tracking payments to resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance, requiring strong attention to detail, communication, and proficiency in billing software and MS Office, often coordinating with clients and internal teams for smooth financial operations and reporting. Key duties include generating invoices, updating accounts, handling customer inquiries, processing payments, and generating financial reports, with specialized roles in sectors like healthcare (insurance claims, TPA coordination) or retail (counter sales).
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Documentation: Prepare, generate, and send accurate invoices, receipts, and billing statements; maintain meticulous billing records.
Payment Processing

Receive, record, and update incoming payments; manage accounts receivable and follow up on overdue payments

Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing errors, discrepancies, and customer complaints.
Customer Interaction: Respond to client billing inquiries and provide support, ensuring good customer service.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports (MIS) to track income, expenses, and outstanding balances.
Compliance & Coordination: Ensure adherence to company policies, tax laws (like GST), and financial regulations; work with sales, finance, and operations.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in a billing or similar financial role.
