Job Description

JWe are a small-sized Chartered Accountancy firm looking for a qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) with prior experience in a CA firm and strong practical knowledge of GST, Income Tax, Audit, and Accounting. The candidate will primarily be responsible for independently handling Indirect Tax assignments, including preparation and filing of GST returns, GST reconciliations, GST registrations, refunds, assessments, notices, appeals, and litigation matters. The role will also involve handling Income Tax notices and litigation, supervising bookkeeping and accounting functions, reviewing books of accounts, assisting in finalisation and audits, ensuring timely statutory compliances, coordinating with clients and tax authorities, and guiding junior team members. Candidates should possess good analytical, drafting, communication, client-handling, and MS Excel skills, with the ability to manage assignments independently and meet statutory deadlines.
