Job Role - PF & ESI Executive
Department: HR / Payroll
Location: VIP Road (Near Airport)
Reports To: HR Manager / Payroll Head
Job Purpose:
To manage and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant handling of Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) operations for all employees, including new registrations, monthly contributions, claims, and settlements.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end operations of Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI) for the organization.
Ensure timely PF & ESI registration of new joiners and exit formalities for resigning employees.
Process monthly PF & ESI contributions and generate ECR (Electronic Challan cum Return) files.
Maintain employee-wise PF & ESI records and ensure accurate data management.
Coordinate with the EPFO & ESIC offices regarding claim settlements, grievances, and inspections.
Handle employee queries related to PF withdrawals, advances, ESI benefits, and other statutory benefits.
Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual returns and reports related to PF & ESI.
Keep updated with statutory amendments, circulars, and notifications from EPFO & ESIC and ensure organizational compliance.
Liaise with internal payroll teams to reconcile statutory deductions and payments.
Maintain and update employee master data in compliance with statutory records.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of the Provident Fund Act, ESI Act, and other relevant statutory acts.
Proficiency in using PF & ESI portals and generating challans.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce / Business Administration / Human Resources or related field.
2 years of relevant experience in PF & ESI compliance and payroll operations.
Familiarity with payroll software and MS Excel is a must.
