Accounts Compliance Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a Global Compliance Executive to manage and coordinate payroll-related compliance activities across multiple countries. The role will ensure timely statutory filings, payments, renewals, registrations and other payroll compliance requirements through effective coordination with payroll partners, accountants, Finance and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll-related statutory compliance across multiple countries.

• Maintain and regularly update country-wise payroll compliance calendars and trackers, including filing and payment deadlines.

• Coordinate with payroll partners, local accountants, consultants and Finance teams to ensure statutory dues, taxes and other payroll-related payments are completed on time.

• Track statutory filings, payments, acknowledgements and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.

• Coordinate registrations, renewals, amendments, applications and cancellations related to payroll and statutory compliance.

• Monitor upcoming deadlines and proactively follow up with relevant stakeholders to avoid delays, penalties or compliance gaps.

• Review compliance reports, payment instructions and supporting documents received from payroll partners and flag discrepancies where required.

• Monitor changes in payroll and statutory regulations and coordinate with local partners to ensure compliance with new requirements.

• Support payroll audits and provide required compliance records, filings and payment proofs.

• Prepare regular compliance status reports highlighting completed, upcoming, pending and overdue activities.

• Identify compliance risks and escalate potential delays or issues to the relevant stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll and compliance records.

Requirements

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Location: Remote (Work from home)

• B. Com / MBA in Finance will be preferred.

• 2–3 years of experience in payroll compliance, finance compliance or operations or a similar role.

• Good understanding of payroll statutory compliance and payment processes.

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience maintaining trackers.

• Strong attention to detail, follow-up and deadline management skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 1 - 3 years of experience.
