Key Responsibilities
Statutory & Labor Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, Gratuity, Bonus, and other applicable labor laws
Timely filing of statutory returns and challans
Monitor changes in labor laws and update internal policies accordingly
Payroll Compliance
Coordinate with payroll team to ensure accurate statutory deductions
Reconcile payroll data with statutory records
Handle payroll-related audits and inspections
Regulatory Filings & Documentation
Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance documentation
Respond to notices, inspections, and queries from government authorities
Liaise with consultants, auditors, and labor departments
Audits & Reporting
Support internal and external compliance audits
Prepare compliance MIS reports and dashboards
Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliances
Experience in PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Gratuity & Bonus regulations
Good understanding of payroll processes
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders
