Job Title: Daily payment collection Incharge
Job Description:
The Daily Payment Collection Executive is responsible for visiting clients or vendors to collect payments (cash, cheques, digital), issuing receipts, updating payment records, and reporting daily collection status. This role requires accuracy, honesty, and good communication skills as it involves handling money and interacting directly with customers or partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit customers, vendors, or clients as per the collection schedule
Collect payments (cash, cheque, UPI/online) and issue receipts or acknowledgment slips
Maintain daily records of collections in physical logs and digital systems
Deposit collected amounts into the company account or designated collection point
Reconcile daily collections with finance/accounts team
Follow up with customers on pending or overdue payments politely but firmly
Ensure proper documentation of each collection with signatures or acknowledgments
Build and maintain good relationships with clients to ensure timely payments
Report any discrepancies or issues (e.g., bounced cheques, refusal to pay) to the supervisor
Follow company policies regarding cash handling and security
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field is preferred for senior roles
Experience:
6month to 4 years of experience in field collections, accounts receivable, or customer billing
Fresher’s with good communication and Basic knowledge are welcome for entry-level roles
Skills:
Basic understanding of financial transactions and payment
