Chartered Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our construction firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, optimizing costs, and supporting project profitability. This position requires strong financial acumen, industry-specific knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.

• Monitor project costing, budget utilization, and variance analysis.

• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax), and timely filing of returns.

• Perform project audits, reconcile accounts, and track expenditures.

• Manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization across multiple construction projects.

• Liaise with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and statutory bodies.

• Review contracts and vendor agreements for financial accuracy and risk.

• Maintain accurate books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).

• Lead monthly and annual closing processes and prepare MIS reports for management.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Chartered Accountant (CA) certified by ICAI.

• Minimum 3–7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.

• Strong knowledge of project finance, WIP accounting, revenue recognition, and cost control.

• Proficient in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software.

• Solid understanding of taxation laws, indirect taxes (GST), and labor compliance.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
