Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting & Financial Management
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations.
• Finalize monthly books of accounts including Trial Balance, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
• Prepare and review monthly MIS reports for management.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, receivables, and payables.
2. Taxation – GST, TDS & Income Tax
• Review GST workings and file monthly, quarterly, and annual returns (including GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C).
• Review TDS calculations, payments, and file quarterly TDS returns.
• Assist in preparation of Tax Audit reports and Income Tax return filings.
• Handle GST, TDS, and Income Tax notices, rectifications, and queries.
3. Audit & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for GST audit, tax audit, and statutory audit.
• Prepare audit schedules and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
• Manage and clear all audit-related queries and documentation requirements.
4. Client Interaction & Query Handling
• Address and resolve client queries related to accounting, GST, TDS, audit, and Income Tax.
• Provide timely clarifications and ensure smooth communication with clients.
• Maintain professional client relationships.
5. Team Leadership
• Lead, guide, and mentor the accounts team.
• Allocate work and review output for accuracy and compliance.
• Train team members on accounting standards and regulatory updates.
6. Process Improvement & Controls
• Implement and monitor internal financial controls and SOPs.
• Suggest and execute process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
