Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and MIS.

• Handle statutory, internal, and financial audit activities and coordinate with auditors.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.

• Review and monitor accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and documentation.

• Monitor statutory compliance and ensure timely filing of applicable returns and reports.

• Review financial data and identify discrepancies, control gaps, and areas requiring corrective action.

• Support budgeting, financial planning, cash-flow management, and financial analysis as required.

• Ensure proper maintenance and documentation of financial records.

• Assist management with financial insights, analysis, and recommendations for business decision-making.

• Monitor internal financial controls and recommend improvements in accounting and compliance processes.

• Coordinate with banks, consultants, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as required.

• Keep track of changes in applicable accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial, business, and organizational information.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, taxation, and statutory compliance.

• Proven experience in handling financial accounting and audit activities.

• Good understanding of financial reporting and applicable accounting standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to review financial data and identify discrepancies.

• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet statutory and reporting deadlines.

• Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes.

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline will be preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, audit, taxation, financial reporting, or compliance.

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 2 - 6+ years Experience.
