Reporting To: Partner/Manager – CA Firm
Key Responsibilities:
As a Team Leader, the CA employee will be responsible for managing a team of six audit assistants and ensuring the effective execution of the internal audit function at the client site.
1. Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and supervise a team of six audit assistants.
Allocate tasks as per the scope of work and ensure timely execution.
Monitor and guide team members on audit procedures and reporting.
Conduct regular review meetings to track audit progress.
2. Internal Audit & Compliance:
Perform pre-audit of:
Purchase orders, purchases, and expenses.
Attendance, payroll processing, and salary disbursements.
Capital work-in-progress transactions.
Conduct post-audit of financial records and transactions.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and statutory compliance.
3. Monthly Audits & Reporting:
Conduct monthly inventory verification and reconciliation.
Identify discrepancies, risks, and areas of improvement in financial and operational activities.
Prepare detailed monthly audit reports covering observations, recommendations, and compliance status.
Discuss audit findings and reports with the Finance Head and relevant stakeholders.
4. Process Improvements & Risk Mitigation:
Evaluate and suggest improvements in internal controls and financial processes.
Assist in implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure audit recommendations are effectively implemented.
Skills & Qualifications:
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in internal audit & financial controls.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in the dairy, FMCG, or manufacturing sector.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis, internal controls, and compliance checks.
Expertise in ERP systems, SAP, or Tally.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and management.
Work Environment & Expectations:

Ability to manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously.
