Chartered Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain books of accounts as per applicable accounting standards.

  • Finalization of accounts up to trial balance / balance sheet stage.

  • Assist in statutory, internal, and tax audits.

• Taxation

  • Preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and Income Tax returns.

  • Handling tax assessments and notices under guidance.

  • Knowledge of direct and indirect tax compliance.

• Audit & Compliance

  • Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit processes.

  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other applicable laws.

  • Maintain proper documentation and audit working papers.

• Financial Analysis & MIS

  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly MIS reports.

  • Variance analysis of expenses, revenue, and budgets.

  • Assist in cost control and financial planning.

• Other Areas

  • Bank reconciliation, vendor reconciliation, and account scrutiny.

  • Coordination with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

  • Exposure to ERP/accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Ability to work under deadlines and multitask.
