Position Summary
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Chartered Accountant to lead and manage the company's finance, accounts, taxation, auditing, compliance, banking, and strategic financial planning functions. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, import-export documentation, financial reporting, budgeting, and corporate compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Manage General Ledger, Trial Balance, and financial reconciliations.
• Conduct month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Develop MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
• Handle GST compliance, return filing, reconciliations, and audits.
• Manage TDS, TCS, Advance Tax, and Income Tax compliance.
• Coordinate with tax consultants and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with Companies Act and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and advise management accordingly.
Audit & Internal Controls
• Coordinate Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, GST Audit, and Tax Audit.
• Implement and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance procedures.
• Address audit observations and implement corrective actions.
Banking & Treasury Management
• Manage banking operations, fund flow, and cash flow planning.
• Handle working capital management and banking relationships.
• Coordinate with banks for CC limits, term loans, bank guarantees, and LC documentation.
• Optimize utilization of funds and monitor liquidity.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
• Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management in strategic financial decision-making.
• Evaluate project viability, profitability, and ROI analysis.
Export-Import Finance
• Manage export documentation, inward and outward remittances.
• Handle FEMA compliance and foreign exchange transactions.
• Monitor export incentives, duty drawback, and government schemes.
• Coordinate with customs, DGFT, and export promotion councils.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Supervise vendor payments and customer collections.
• Monitor aging analysis and outstanding receivables.
• Ensure timely reconciliations of supplier and customer accounts.
• Maintain strong financial controls over transactions.
Payroll & Employee Compliance
• Review payroll processing and statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and Labour Laws.
• Coordinate employee reimbursement and compensation accounting.
Team Management
• Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team.
• Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Develop finance SOPs and process improvements.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
• Advanced knowledge of Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting.
• Strong expertise in GST, Income Tax, TDS, TCS, and Corporate Taxation.
• Knowledge of Companies Act and ROC filings.
• Experience in export-import accounting and foreign remittances.
• Financial modeling and budgeting expertise.
• Costing and inventory accounting knowledge.
Educational Qualification
• Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory, Senior Accountant, Finance Manager
• Additional certifications in Finance, Taxation, IFRS, or SAP will be an added advantage.
Experience
• 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.
