Job Title: Accountant (Payment Gateway Reconciliation Specialist - E-commerce)

Job Summary:

We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reconciling payment gateway transactions, online portal charges, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting for e-commerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Reconcile payment gateway transactions from various e-commerce platforms, including:

- Flipkart

- Amazon

- Indian e-commerce marketplaces (e.g., Paytm Mall, Snapdeal)

- Other online marketplaces

2. Reconcile transactions from payment gateways like:

- PayPal

- Stripe

- Razorpay

- PayU

- CCAvenue

3. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payment gateway reconciliations.

4. Reconcile online portal charges, including:

- Commission fees

- Payment processing fees

- Other charges

5. Prepare and review journal entries, ledger accounts, and financial statements.

6. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

7. Collaborate with the finance team to maintain accurate financial records.

8. Analyze and improve financial processes, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency gains.

Requirements:

1. CA Intermediate/Articleship or equivalent experience.

2. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).

3. Experience with payment gateway reconciliations and online portal charges.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Attention to detail and accuracy.

6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. CA Final/Qualified or MBA (Finance).

2. Experience with accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS).

3. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Zapier, APIs).

4. Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment gateways.
