Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer to handle project billing, quantity estimation, and cost control activities. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate bills, verifying quantities, coordinating with site and accounts teams, and ensuring timely submission of client and vendor bills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare RA bills, final bills, and reconciliation statements

• Measure and verify BOQ quantities as per drawings and site execution

• Prepare client billing and sub-contractor billing

• Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and abstracts

• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and accounts team

• Track work progress vs billing

• Prepare variation / extra item statements

• Check and certify vendor & subcontractor bills

• Assist in cost control and budget monitoring

• Ensure compliance with contract terms and specifications

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of BOQ, rate analysis, and measurements

• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas)

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (for quantity take-offs)

• Understanding of contracts, tenders, and billing procedures

• Good analytical and numerical skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams

• Knowledge of GST & basic taxation (preferred)

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

• Additional certification in Billing / Estimation is an advantage

Salary

• As per industry standards (Negotiable based on experience)

• It is a Full Time Accountant job for candidates with 6 months - 1 years of experience.
