The IP Billing Executive is responsible for accurate billing of IP-based services, ensuring timely invoicing, reconciliation of usage data, and resolution of billing discrepancies. The role supports revenue assurance and works closely with technical, finance, and customer service teams.
Prepare and generate invoices for IP services (Internet Leased Line, MPLS, VPN, VoIP, Cloud, etc.)
Validate usage data from network systems and billing platforms
Ensure billing accuracy as per contracts, tariffs, and SLAs
Handle billing adjustments, credit notes, and corrections
Reconcile billing data with finance and revenue reports
Coordinate with technical and provisioning teams for service activation details
Respond to customer billing queries and resolve disputes
Maintain billing records and documentation
Support month-end and year-end billing closures
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Knowledge of IP billing systems and telecom billing processes
Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, bandwidth, usage)
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, IT, or related field
1–3 years of experience in telecom/IP billing (freshers with billing knowledge may apply)
Experience with telecom billing tools (e.g., Kenan, SAP, Oracle BRM, Zuora)
Exposure to ISP or enterprise IP services billing
Knowledge of GST/VAT and invoicing standards
