Cost Control & Budgeting:
Track project expenses, monitor costs against the budget, identify potential overruns, and report on the financial status of the project.
Rate Analysis:
Assist in analyzing item rates for materials, labor, and machinery, applying them as per project specifications or market rates.
Material Reconciliation:
Track material deliveries, usage, and wastage to ensure they align with BOQ quantities and agreed prices.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive records of all billing activities, financial reports, progress reports (DPR, weekly, monthly), and other project documents.
Client & Contractor Communication:
Liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors to resolve billing discrepancies and provide necessary billing information.
Contract Compliance:
Ensure all billing activities comply with the contract terms, payment schedules, and performance criteria.
Extra Items & Variations:
Identify, document, and prepare bills for extra or substituted items and manage variations to the original scope of work.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Education:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is typically required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, construction estimating software, AutoCAD, and potentially ERP systems like SAP.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
