Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head
Location: Shahibaug Dudheshwar

Experience: 1–5 Years


Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, ensure statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and ERP/Tally systems.


Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain books of accounts in Tally/ERP

  • Record daily transactions, vouchers, and journal entries

  • Prepare ledger, trial balance, and balance sheet support

  • Handle bank, cash, and vendor reconciliations

Statutory Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns

  • Handle TDS calculations & returns

  • Support PF, ESIC & PT related data and coordination

  • Assist in statutory audits and assessments

Payroll & Expenses

  • Support payroll processing and salary entries

  • Verify employee expense claims and reimbursements

Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports

  • Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks

  • Maintain proper documentation and records


Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP

  • Good understanding of GST, TDS & basic compliance

  • Proficiency in MS Excel

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Good communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines


Preferred

  • Experience in manufacturing / publication / service industry

  • Knowledge of compliance & audit support


Salary

  • As per company standards & experience
