Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Audit & Accounts Professional with strong exposure to accounting, financial reporting, statutory/internal audits, reconciliations, taxation, and management reporting. The role will involve working closely with clients, management, Directors, and Partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and timely completion of audit and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
Finalization of books of accounts for various entities.
Preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Analyse financial statements and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assist with financial and tax planning for timely and compliant book closure.
Prepare and review various reconciliations, including GSTR, ledgers, and books with accounting software.
Audit Planning & Execution
Assist in developing audit plans, audit programs, and execution of audit assignments.
Conduct statutory/internal and management audits and ensure timely completion of reports.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Identify process gaps, discrepancies, risks, and deficiencies in internal controls.
Discuss audit findings with management and follow up on corrective actions.
Inventory & Management Audit
Checking/preparation of Drawing Power (DP) Statements.
Preparation of MIS and other management reports as required by clients.
Analyse financial and operational data to identify discrepancies and areas of improvement.
Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
Stay updated with changes in GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations.
Good understanding of accounting standards.
Basic knowledge of FEMA regulations.
Knowledge of SEBI compliance for listed companies will be an added advantage.
Client & Team Management
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, Directors, and Partners.
Collaborate with management and staff to gather information required for audits.
Mentor and guide junior audit/accounting staff.
Ensure timely completion of assigned engagements and deliverables.
Required Skills
Strong analytical and observational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
Working knowledge of Tally is mandatory.
Knowledge of Spectrum is preferred; SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
Experience & Level
2–3 years: Audit & Accounts Associate / Executive
4–5+ years: Senior Audit & Accounts Professional
Mandatory: Relevant experience should be from a CA firm.
Important Note
Candidates currently pursuing CA are welcome; however, examination leave will not be available.
Candidates should be comfortable working from the Mumbai location.
