Key Responsibilities:
• Compute monthly TCS/TDS liabilities, prepare workings, and ensure timely tax payments.
• Prepare and file quarterly TDS/TCS returns within due dates.
• Issue TDS/TCS certificates on a quarterly basis.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of TDS/TCS with the books of accounts.
• Manage revisions / revised returns for TDS/TCS as and when required.
• Maintain and update TDS/TCS trackers and record documentation.
• Prepare monthly GSTR-1 and assist with reconciliation of outward supplies.
• Monitor and reconcile GSTR-2B with the purchase/book records monthly.
• Prepare monthly GSTR-3B computations, liability workings, and payments.
• Ensure monthly reconciliations of GST figures with books.
• Prepare periodic ITC statements and monitor ITC availment.
• Support GST amendments and filing corrections as required.
• Prepare yearly GSTR-9 / GSTR-9C workings and supporting statements.
• Assist with GST/TDS notices — compile details, prepare responses, and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Prepare data and schedules required for statutory audits and compliance reviews.
• Support internal and external audit queries related to indirect tax.
• Issue Resolution & Stakeholder Support
• Act as point of contact for resolving customer/tax authority issues related to GST.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Accounts, Finance, Sales) to ensure accurate reporting of tax data.
• Work with external consultants or tax advisors, as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GST/TDS/TCS laws, notifications, and portal changes.
• Support additional tax tasks as assigned by the Tax Manager or Finance Head.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or related field with specialization in Taxation/Finance.
• CA (Inter/Final), MBA (Finance), or relevant professional certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 Years’ experience in Indian GST, TDS/TCS compliance, and return filing.
• Experience with reconciliation of tax data and preparing compliance documentation.
• Good understanding of GST laws, e-filing portals, and return formats.
• Proficient in Excel knowledge
