The ATM Custodian is responsible for the secure replenishment, maintenance, and first-level servicing of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). This role ensures that ATMs remain operational, well-stocked, clean, and secure, while maintaining compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
Replenish ATMs with cash, receipt paper, and other required supplies.
Balance and reconcile cash in ATMs according to company procedures.
Conduct basic troubleshooting for minor technical issues (e.g., paper jams, card capture, error resets).
Perform regular physical inspections to ensure ATMs are clean, secure, and undamaged.
Record all activities and report discrepancies, malfunctions, or suspicious activity immediately.
Follow strict cash handling and security procedures during transportation and replenishment.
Maintain accurate logs of cash levels, servicing times, and maintenance performed.
Coordinate with technical teams or service providers for advanced repairs.
Assist in the transportation of ATM cassettes, bags, and supplies to and from secure locations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, bank policies, and regulatory standards.
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience in cash handling, security, or custodial work (preferred).
Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
Ability to follow strict security protocols and procedures.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if travel is required).
Ability to lift and carry heavy bags/cash cassettes (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working independently and in a mobile environment.
Willingness to undergo background checks, fingerprinting, and drug screening.
Work involves travel between ATM sites (if applicable).
May involve irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.
Exposure to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
High-security environment requiring vigilance and discretion.
Prior experience in banking, armored transport, or security services.
Familiarity with ATM brands such as NCR, Diebold, or Hyosung.
Basic mechanical or technical troubleshooting ability.
Strong record-keeping and communication skills.
