AVP - Finance & Controllership Design and strengthen internal financial controls across accounting and payroll, acting as the finance lead for internal & statutory audits. Ensure timely closure of audit issues while driving continuous improvement in risk mitigation and compliance. The AVP – Controllership will be responsible for leading the MCM India’s controllership and payroll functions, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate financial reporting, robust internal controls, and compliant payroll operations. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders while driving process excellence and team capability. AVP Controllership will report to Director Finance. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES Lead financial closing, overseeing GL, balance sheet, accruals, provisions, and key accounting judgments. Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards and all statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements - 30% Own payroll operations & ensuring timely and accurate processing while managing payroll changes in partnership with HR. Ensure compliance with all statutory payroll regulations and oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, and statutory filings - 30% Design and strengthen internal financial controls across accounting and payroll, acting as the finance lead for internal & statutory audits. Ensure timely closure of audit issues while driving continuous improvement in risk mitigation and compliance - 20% Ensure end ‑ to ‑ end compliance with all direct/indirect tax and other regulatory requirements like SEZ, etc. - 20% REQUIRED SKILL SET Certification:Bachelor; Finance and CA Education: Degree:Master or Advanced Experience:8 - 10 years of post qualification experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP, Indian Accounting, Indian Tax laws.
