Assistant Manager - Financial Modelling and Deal Advisory

Assistant Manager-KDNI Description: The Modelling hub is a cross functional group and works on a wide variety of engagements in the public and private sectors. Some of the work is directly M&A related however the majority involves Our work includes:  Work effectively with personnel from a variety of disciplines (Clients, KPMG advisory teams different geographies such as Europe, HK China, Australia, India) to provide business modelling driven advisory solutions to a wide variety of business challenges / problems.  Application of analysis and modelling solutions to complex and diverse client problems;  Development of Business Planning & Forecasting processes and tools;  Development of Management Information processes and tools;  Transaction (M&A) Modelling; and  Model testing & review.Model testing & review. T he key responsibilities of this role includes: • Managing end to end Financial modelling engagement. • Lead complex model Build/reviews engagements​ • Independently run client meetings, with lminimal supervision​ • Successful outcomes in increasingly complex model build engagements​ • Both able to perform modelling as well as solve the underlying problem (and recognize when modelling is not targeted at achieving the solution)​ • Guide others on modelling best practice and/or how to tackle modelling challenges 4-7 years working experience of Financial Analysis, Business Modelling or Financial Modelling; • Prior experience in delivering Project Finance models, M&A models etc. in excel spreadsheets with detailed financial statement analysis and a strong finance and accounting knowledge. • Strong analytical, strategic and commercial experience in advising clients on engagements • Passionate about Deal advisory with a history of learning continuously from experience and to seek out development opportunities. • Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and working as part of a team during larger projects  A good working knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and financial analysis;  Strong analytical and problem solving skills;  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;  A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment; and  Excellent communication and presentation skills  Ability to build effective networks internally and externally Undergraduate degree in Engineering / Economics / Commerce / Mathematics  Post graduate in Business Administration (MBA / PGDBM / CFA)  Both the undergrad and the Masters SHOULD BE from a Top tier university Experience Level Senior Level
