Assistant Manager Roles & responsibilities · Strong understanding of key financial metrics such as revenue, expenses, FTE, headcount, utilization, DSO, margin, pipeline, and bookings, and support analysis to generate actionable business insights · Apply accounting knowledge, including journal entries and their impact on the P&L and balance sheet, to ensure accurate financial reporting · Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of general ledgers and intercompany accounts, ensuring data accuracy and completeness · Prepare and review financial reports with variance analysis, highlighting key movements and supporting informed decision-making · Support end-to-end execution of financial projects, ensuring timelines are met and deliverables are achieved · Drive process improvements and support automation initiatives in reporting to enhance efficiency and consistency · Manage day-to-day interactions with stakeholders and ensure timely delivery aligned with business expectations · Support resolution of escalations related to offshore delivery by coordinating with onshore stakeholders and ensuring proper follow-up and documentation · This role is for you if you have the below Work experience · Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) and advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) are highly desirable, especially those with a focus on UK finance and taxation · Understanding of tools such as MS Excel, Power BI,SQL, Alteryx, VBA will be an added advantage · Proven track record of managing transitions and integrating new roles effectively from US Geo · 10+ years relevant experience which should be mix of Financial accounting, management accounting and FP&A. · Proven track record in driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels · Provide real-time support to US stakeholders, starting at 3 PM IST, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
