Assistant Manager - Business Valuation Responsible for execution of end-to-end valuation engagements incl. Purchase Price Allocation (ASC 805), goodwill and asset impairment analyses (ASC 350), valuations of stock options under ASC 718 and IRC §409A. Candidates with energy sector valuation experience will be strongly preferred. Responsible for execution of end-to-end engagements, perform audit reviews and appraising third-party valuation reports. Be responsible for the high-quality timely delivery of projects by self and the team members Coach a team of business valuation professionals Manage workflow, delivery, team utilization and act as KGS point of contact for the onshore Geo(s) Be involved in recruitment, learning and development and performance management Build strong brand equity with onshore stakeholders Contribute to at least one CF team level task force Responsible for execution of end-to-end valuation engagements incl. Strong knowledge and hands on experience of working on financial models and large client data sets. Ability to clearly articulate complex issues to client and senior leadership. A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business, economic environment and sound commercial acumen Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and handle critical situations Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint) Adept and proficient in various AI model and tools for performing research. Preferred technical & functional skills Strong knowledge of relevant respective local GAAP or IFRS standards Prior experience in performance management Strong team handling skills to effectively lead a team and guide junior colleagues Ability to handle difficult situations (people/client) Key behavioral attributes/requirements Demonstrated quality service mindset; strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills Self-motivated and able to work independently, develop good relationships with senior management and Partners, and operate well within a team environment Excellent communication and time management skills Flexible and adaptable team player; and resourceful in delivering high quality work Experience Level Mid Level
