Working as a Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include: • Leading and managing a team of fresh graduates and experienced professionals working on audits for Germany • Auditing financial statements of international clients and performing an in-charge role • Act as main point of contact for departments and build strong relationships with key contacts in Germany • Work with the senior management and key German contacts to develop business and grow the team • Make regular contact with Germany to ensure staff are booked to audits and utilized effectively and take feedback on quality of work delivered • Track key metrics related to type of work performed, quality of deliverables and feedback from Germany • Develop and deliver training sessions based on the themes identified from onshore feedback and quality reviews • Work with L&D team to identify training needs • Work with Recruitment team to support hiring needs • Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of team members • Coach Seniors on performing reviews and developing their team members • Motivate and develop Seniors to be effective team leaders This role is for you if you have the below Educational qualifications Professional Chartered Accountancy qualification (ICAI) Work experience 3+ year experience with a Big 4 in a client facing environment working with corporate and/or international clients Skillset Preferred technical & functional skills Technical skills: • In depth knowledge of external/statutory audits and audit methodology as per Standards on Auditing • Understanding of international GAAP, IFRS and Internal controls over Financial reporting. • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) • Proficiency/Working knowledge of Adobe Professional would be an added advantage Key behavioural attributes/requirements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent project management skill to be able to leverage large project with effective problem-solving approach. • Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations without compromising on quality, and ethical standards and values • Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments. • Effective at inspiring and motivating team members in order to deliver high quality standards. • Recognizing the developmental requirements of team members and set goals to achieve them. • Analytical thinking • Team Player • Self-driven • Ability to work independently and motivate team members Experience Level Mid Level
