Manage daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank transactions.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Perform bank, ledger, vendor, customer, and inter-company reconciliations.
Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
Maintain accurate books of accounts in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Prepare schedules and supporting documents for audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulatory filings, as applicable.
Monitor accounts receivable and payable and follow up on outstanding balances.
Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed asset accounting.
Develop and maintain effective accounting processes and internal controls.
Prepare MIS reports and provide financial insights to management.
Support the Finance Manager/Financial Controller with ad-hoc financial analysis and accounting requirements.
