KRA for Accountant Role

1. Financial Record Maintenance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including ledgers, journals, and vouchers.

• Ensure timely data entry of all financial transactions in accounting software.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage vendor payments and customer collections.

• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up to ensure timely payments.

3. Bank Reconciliation

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

4. Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file statutory returns such as GST, TDS, and income tax as per deadlines.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

5. Monthly & Year-End Closures

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

• Support in preparing financial reports, P&L statements, and balance sheets.

6. Audit Support

• Provide necessary documentation and support during internal and external audits.

• Address auditor queries and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

7. Budgeting & Forecasting Support

• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts as required by management.

• Monitor actuals vs budget and highlight variances.

8. Process Improvement

• Suggest and implement improvements in accounting processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
