Accounts Payable Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented Trade Payables & Vendor Reconciliation Executive to manage accounts payable operations, vendor reconciliations, purchase accounting, and invoice verification processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent reconciliation skills, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments while maintaining compliance with company policies and GST regulations.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Process and verify vendor invoices, purchase bills, debit notes, and credit notes.

✅ Perform regular vendor ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.

✅ Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and outstanding liabilities.

✅ Monitor payables ageing reports and follow up on pending invoices and reconciliations.

✅ Verify purchase transactions, GRNs, invoices, and supporting documentation.

✅ Ensure proper GST compliance by validating GST details on vendor invoices.

✅ Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Operations, and Finance teams for invoice approvals and payment processing.

✅ Prepare vendor outstanding reports and reconciliation statements on a periodic basis.

✅ Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies relating to vendor balances and purchase entries.

✅ Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to trade payables.

✅ Maintain accurate vendor master records within ERP systems.

✅ Generate MIS reports related to payables, vendor ageing, and reconciliations.

Qualification & Experience

🎓 B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent qualification.

📅 3 to 6+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Vendor Reconciliation, Purchase Accounting, or Trade Payables Management.

Preferred Experience

✅ Experience in Hospitality, Restaurant Chains, FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries.

✅ Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as CW Suits Accountant (Preferred) or similar accounting and ERP platforms.

✅ Strong understanding of vendor accounting, invoice processing workflows, and GST compliance.
