Role Summary:
Responsible for reviewing transactions processed by executors, ensuring compliance with policies, taxation, and accuracy standards while minimizing financial and audit risks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and validate:
o Vendor invoices, PRVs, and supporting documents
o Expense claims and petty cash transactions
• Perform advanced 3-way matching and agreement validation
• Ensure:
o Correct GST treatment (CGST/SGST/IGST, RCM applicability)
o TDS applicability and accuracy
• Validate:
o Opex vs Capex classification
o Rate contracts, SOWs, and agreements
• Review exception approvals and policy deviations
• Handle complex queries and escalations
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal controls
• Monitor and maintain quality benchmarks (>90%)
• Support preparation of MIS reports and dashboards
• Guide junior team members
• Vendor reconciliations
• Oversee the work of AP team
Skills & Requirements:
• Working knowledge of SAP Hana will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of:
o GST, TDS, and AP processes
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP HANA mandatory)
• Analytical and review mindset
• Understanding of audit and compliance frameworks
• Ability to manage SLA and quality metrics

Qualifications:
B Com Graudate with 4-5 years relevant experience in
- AP / P2P accounting , Employee reimbursements and Petty cash management and accounting
- Ability to manage AP queries
- Strong understanding of P2P process and nuances, compliance requirements
- Experience and Knowledge of SAP Hana
- Should have managed a team

Work location – Predominantly BDO Office in Empire Mills, Lower Parel. However during the initial period, there may be a need to work from client office in Goregaon
Working days – 6 days work week (Monday to Saturday) atleast 9 hours per day (subject to completing tasks assigned for the day)
Long Shot is a freelancing platform for finance professionals. Assignment posted in platform is on behalf of clients.
1.Full details of the assignment shall be provided by client once you confirm the assignment.
2.Only local candidates can apply.
3.Actual assignment date and duration may vary.
4.Payment shall be made by Long Shot only.
5.Payment will be made by Long Shot within 7 days or next Sunday whichever is later from the date of confirmation of completion of assignment by client. In case of more than 1 month duration assignment then monthly fee will be paid.
6.Do not discuss and disclose fee with the client.
7.Inform Long Shot before completion of assignment regarding any change in planned mandays, travelling reimbursement etc. by client to claim additional payment. Long Shot will not be responsible for non payment of additional mandays or travelling reimbursement if not informed prior to completion of assignment.
8.You cannot withdraw the assignment once training given or 1 day before assignment whichever is earlier. Else you will be blocked from Long Shot app for 6 months.
9.Do not backout or withdraw the assignment before completion of assignment. In such case long shot may hold the pending fee.
