Accounts Manager

Job Description:

This role will act as trusted finance partner in provide financial support to the FP&A Head by creating complex financial models that will be used to filling the GST returns and timely fulfilling the due diligence.

Responsible for financial planning, Annual Operating plan, MIS, financial analysis and establishing governance and discipline around financial health of the company.

Principal Roles and Responsibilities: •

·         To handle the day-to-day accounting function and ensure closing of books in time bound manner on periodic basis including periodic bank reconciliation, provisions/accruals, ledger scrutiny, vendor & employee payments, GST Invoicing etc.

·         Ensuring 100% adherence to deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and 9C).

·          Ensuring vendors upload invoices correctly to avoid ITC loss and coordinating for corrections.

·         Providing timely and technically sound responses to GST department notices and managing appeals.

·         Compute monthly GST liability and ensure accurate payment after adjusting eligible ITC.

·         Monitor e-invoices and e-way bills to ensure legal movement of goods.

·         Provide guidance to the sales and procurement teams on GST rates, HSN/SAC codes, and the impact of new amendments.

·         Maintain organized electronic and physical records of all GST-related transactions, including ledger reconciliations.

·         Prepare and evaluate financial reports, accounting systems and audits in accordance with applicable financial regulator regulations.

·         To handle Tax audits & Tax assessments

·         Coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries and notices from tax authorities.

·         Timely submission of reports

·         Monthly performance review

Others Job Specific Skills:

·         Strong knowledge of advance Excel with Microsoft office.

·         Familiarities with ERP software like: Oracle, SAP, Business dynamics etc.

·         Must have Good accounting and taxation knowledge

General Requirements



·         Bachelor or Master' Degree in Accounting or Finance from reputable university

·         Minimum 5 years' experience as finance and accounting professionals. 

·         Have working experience in Manufacturing industry.
