The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting, statutory compliance, and financial controls for two-wheeler sales and service operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
Manage day-to-day accounting for sales, service, spares, accessories, and workshop operations
Maintain books of accounts including cash, bank, journal, and ledger entries
Ensure daily sales reconciliation (vehicle, service, spares, accessories)
Monitor receivables, payables, advances, and petty cash
Handle GST compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliation, input credit tracking
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and filings as per Income Tax Act
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities
Ensure timely compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax, if applicable
Hands-on working knowledge of ERP / Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
Experience in RealBooks / Tally / SAP / ERP-based accounting software
Ensure accurate data entry and system-based reporting
Prepare monthly MIS, P&L statements, balance sheet support data
Track cost controls, expense monitoring, and variance analysis
Support internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
Manage banking transactions, reconciliations, and loan documentation
Handle OEM incentives, claims, and reconciliations
Coordinate with banks for OD, CC, and dealership finance facilities
Guide and supervise accounts executives
Coordinate with Sales, Service, HR, and Stores teams
Support management with financial insights and decision support
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards
Working knowledge of ERP / DMS accounting systems
Excellent analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills
Attention to detail and compliance-driven mindset
Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA-Inter preferred
Experience: 6–10 years in automobile / two-wheeler dealership accounting
Prior experience in sales & service dealership environment is mandatory
