Accounts Manager

An Accounting Manager oversees daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, by managing staff, preparing financial reports (statements, budgets, forecasts), coordinating audits, and implementing internal controls to support strategic financial goals and provide insights for business decisions. Key duties involve supervising accounting teams, managing month/year-end closes, ensuring regulatory adherence (GAAP/IFRS), and advising senior leadership on financial health. 

• Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow); identify trends, variances, and KPIs. 

• Budgeting & Forecasting:

  Develop budgets, monitor performance against them, and create long-term financial forecasts. 

• Operations Management:

  Supervise daily activities, month/year-end closes, general ledger reconciliation, and cash flow. 

• Compliance & Controls:

  Ensure adherence to accounting standards, implement internal controls, and manage regulatory filings. 

• Team Leadership:

  Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff, ensuring efficient workflow. 

• Strategic Support:

  Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.
