Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounts

Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings

Assist with the preparation of financial statements in compliance

Analyze financial information to summarize and forecast company financial position

Monitor and manage accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules

Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Maintain and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Review and reconcile intercompany transactions

Provide guidance to junior accounting staff and support training initiatives

Coordinate with external tax advisors for tax filing and compliance

Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in accounting standards. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS

Experience with ERP systems

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
