Accounts Manager

Job Title: Manager - Accounts

Location: Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad

Experience: Minimum 10 years in the jewellery sector

Salary: Depending on the last drawn salary

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations (payables, receivables, ledger maintenance) for a high‑value jewellery showroom.

· Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP and jewellery‑industry regulations.

· Manage GST, TDS, and other tax filings specific to precious metals and stones, and coordinate with external auditors.

· Supervise inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and stock‑reconciliation processes for gold, diamond, and other jewellery items.

· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow planning to support showroom sales targets and expansion plans.

· Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard high‑value inventory and prevent shrinkage.

· Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and vendors for credit lines, payment terms, and treasury operations.

· Mentor and train junior accountants, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· CA inter/final preferred.

· 10+ years of hands‑on accounting experience exclusively in jewellery retail or manufacturing.

· Strong knowledge of jewellery‑specific accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP for jewellery) and MS Excel.

· Expertise in GST, customs duty, and other statutory requirements for precious metals.

· Proven ability to handle large inventory values and perform regular stock audits.

· Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
