Accounts Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Account Head to lead and manage the accounting department. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of auditing, taxation, GST, financial reporting, and advanced Excel. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Perform variance analysis and budgeting reports.

• Ensure timely and accurate closing of accounts.

• Liaise with management to provide financial insights for decision-making.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Handle direct and indirect taxation matters including TDS, Income Tax, GST, etc.

• File timely returns and ensure compliance with tax laws.

• Coordinate with tax consultants and auditors for assessments and scrutiny cases.

3. Audit Management

• Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits.

• Prepare and maintain audit schedules, reconciliations, and working papers.

• Ensure compliance with audit findings and regulatory requirements.

4. GST Management

• Oversee GST registrations, filings, reconciliations, and refund processes.

• Monitor input tax credit (ITC) utilization and compliance with GST norms.

5. Advanced Excel Reporting & Automation

• Use advanced Excel tools (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Power Query) for financial analysis and MIS reports.

• Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy

Experience: 8+ years in Accounting & Finance
Education: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com
