Job Description: Accounts Executive
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure timely filing of GST returns in compliance with statutory due dates.
• Compute and deduct TDS for employees and directors, and ensure timely filing and payment as per applicable regulations.
• Prepare and file Professional Tax (PT) returns within prescribed due dates.
• Assist statutory auditors by providing required documents and supporting schedules during Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and audit processes.
• Manage petty cash, maintain accurate records, and prepare periodic petty cash statements.
• Update daily sales reports and maintain accurate sales records.
• Record accounting transactions and maintain books of accounts using Tally.
• Handle accounting activities in Zoho Books and the Razorpay Accounts module.
• Prepare monthly salary statements, process payroll, and generate employee payslips.
• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and ensure timely settlement of dues.
• Perform bank reconciliation on a regular basis and resolve discrepancies.
• Visit banks for office-related financial and banking transactions whenever required.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, and complete day-to-day accounting operations in a timely and efficient manner.
