Key Responsibilities
Perform vendor reconciliation and ensure vendor balances are accurate and up to date.
Reconcile purchase invoices, vendor ledgers, debit/credit notes, and payment records.
Identify and resolve discrepancies between vendor statements and company books.
Handle GST reconciliation, including purchase register vs. GSTR-2B reconciliation.
Verify GST details such as GSTIN, tax rates, CGST, SGST, IGST, and invoice details.
Coordinate with vendors for missing invoices, mismatches, credit notes, and other discrepancies.
Assist in GST return preparation and compliance-related activities.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.
Assist in month-end closing and other accounting activities as required.
Prepare reconciliation reports and share regular updates with the reporting manager.
