Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Time: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, trade payables, trade receivables, bank reconciliation, statutory compliance support, stock reconciliation, daily vouching and accounting records.

The role requires practical knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST, TDS, TCS and RCM, along with coordination with Purchase, Store, Production, Dispatch, Sales, vendors, customers, banks, auditors and Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment, contra, journal, expense, advance and adjustment entries in Tally Prime and maintain cash book, bank book, general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.

  • Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, debit notes, credit notes and supporting documents; perform daily vouching and ensure that transactions are properly recorded and authorized.

  • Manage trade payables by maintaining vendor ledgers, matching purchase invoices with purchase orders and goods-receipt records, reconciling accounts and preparing ageing and payment-due reports.

  • Manage trade receivables by maintaining customer and dealer ledgers, recording and allocating receipts and advances, reconciling accounts and preparing outstanding and ageing reports.

  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, Sales and Management for payment follow-up, account confirmation and resolution of ledger differences.

  • Perform bank reconciliation, record banking entries and maintain bank statements, cheque-deposit records, payment documents and other authorized banking records.

  • Prepare payment and banking documents for authorized review and complete approved bank-related visits or tasks; no payment or bank transaction may be released without authorization.

  • Maintain purchase and sales data, reconcile GSTR-2B and assist in preparing GST, TDS, TCS, RCM and other applicable compliance workings, challans, reconciliations and return-supporting records.

  • Coordinate with the authorized consultant, senior accountant or Management for statutory review and filing; statutory returns shall not be filed or signed independently without authorization.

  • Reconcile physical stock, store records and books of accounts; verify purchase, material receipt, transfer, consumption, dispatch and sales documents and report identified differences.

  • Support stock verification, internal and statutory audits, month-end and year-end closing, ledger scrutiny, balance confirmation and preparation of basic accounting reports.

  • Maintain systematic physical and digital records, protect confidential financial information and report missing documents, unsupported entries, irregular transactions or unreconciled balances.

Required Skills

  • Practical knowledge of Tally Prime and day-to-day accounting entries.

  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, filters, sorting, reconciliation and report preparation.

  • Understanding of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting and ledger management.

  • Knowledge of trade payables, trade receivables and bank reconciliation.

  • Practical working knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, RCM and GSTR-2B reconciliation.

  • Ability to verify invoices, vouchers and supporting documents.

  • Basic understanding of stock and manufacturing accounting.

  • Ability to prepare ageing, outstanding and reconciliation reports.

  • Good numerical accuracy, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow approval and financial-control procedures.

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills in Hindi and English.

Preferred Exposure

  • Manufacturing, engineering, automobile, machinery or agricultural-equipment accounting.

  • Chartered Accountant office, trading, wholesale or distribution accounting.

  • GST return workings and statutory reconciliation.

  • Vendor, customer, bank and stock reconciliation.

  • Internal, statutory or tax-audit assistance.

  • Month-end and year-end closing and basic management reporting.

Qualification & Experience

  • B.Com or M.Com from a recognized institution preferred.

  • Candidates with another graduate qualification may also be considered based on strong and verifiable practical accounting experience.

  • 1–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping or finance operations.

  • Practical experience in voucher entry, trade payables, trade receivables and bank reconciliation is required.

  • Working knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS and RCM is required; experience in return preparation, statutory reconciliation or filing support will be preferred.

  • Tally Prime, GST, taxation, accounting, MS Excel or computer-accounting certification will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly CTC: ₹15,000–₹22,000
