The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, and ensuring proper coordination with the store, freight, and logistics functions. The role involves overseeing inventory records, managing vendor payments, monitoring freight expenses, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Accounts & Finance:
Manage day-to-day accounting entries in the Tally Prime (purchase, sales, journal, payments, receipts).
Reconcile vendor accounts, transporters’ bills, and freight payments.
Maintain records of inward and outward freight, logistics expenses, and warehouse charges.
Prepare MIS reports related to logistics, store, and freight costs.
Support in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
Store Handling:
Monitor stock movement, stock ledger, and maintain proper inventory records.
Coordinate with the store team for physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Track inward/outward materials and ensure accurate GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entries.
Assist in managing stock valuation and ensuring correct posting in accounts.
Freight & Logistics:
Verify and process freight bills, courier invoices, and transport charges.
Coordinate with transporters, logistics partners, and internal teams for timely dispatches.
Ensure proper documentation for dispatches, challans, and e-way bills.
Analyze freight & logistics expenses and provide cost optimization inputs.
Maintain agreements and contracts with logistics service providers.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Tally Prime.
Good Experience in store management and inventory handling.
Knowledge of freight, logistics, and dispatch documentation.
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, Reporting).
