Accounts Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced In-House Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, TDS, GST, and audit support. This role is crucial to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) accurately and timely

• Ensure proper deduction and payment of TDS, along with filing of TDS returns

• Assist in internal and statutory audits, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor queries

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure proper documentation

• Coordinate with external consultants for tax filings and compliance matters

• Monitor receivables and payables; prepare ageing reports

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, MIS, and budgeting

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (CA Inter or M.Com is a plus)

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and tax compliance

• Sound knowledge of TDS, GST, and basic audit procedures

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks)

• Strong MS Excel skills

• Good communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
