Job Title: Accounts Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our Accounts team as a Data Entry and Vouching Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial data, verifying accounting records, and ensuring all supporting documents comply with internal policies and external regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry:
· Accurately enter invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries into the accounting system (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, etc.).
· Maintain and update accounting records, spreadsheets, and databases.
· Reconcile discrepancies in data and reports.
2. Vouching:
· Review and verify vouchers, bills, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
· Ensure all transactions are properly authorized and supported.
· Identify and escalate inconsistencies, missing documents, or unauthorized transactions.
3. Record Management:
· Maintain organized filing systems for physical and digital financial documents.
· Assist in preparing documentation for audits and internal reviews.
4. Reporting Support:
· Support the accounting team in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Assist in reconciliation of bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company transactions.
5. Compliance & Controls:
· Adhere to internal control procedures and accounting standards.
· Ensure data confidentiality and integrity in all financial processes.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or data entry roles.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks).
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently and within a team
