Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, reconciliations, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, TDS, taxation, and financial processes, along with hands-on experience in Tally/ERP and MS Excel. The candidate should be able to work independently, maintain accuracy, and ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording and posting of financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, payment requests, and supporting documents.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and coordinate for timely settlements.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances and ensure timely filing and payments.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Verify expenses, supporting documents, and accounting entries for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audit and statutory requirements.
Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, MIS reporting, and financial analysis.
Identify accounting discrepancies and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards, Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, and other relevant regulations.
Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
Strong knowledge of Tally / ERP / accounting software.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and other commonly used functions.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in handling complete accounting operations.
Experience in audit coordination and statutory compliance.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or similar platforms.
Experience in MIS reporting and month-end closing.
Prior experience in managing vendor/customer reconciliations and statutory documentation.
