Job Description:
We are seeking trustworthy candidates who work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Merchandiser /Assistant Accounts executive can expect to work with large amounts of numerical data, handle multiple tasks with deadlines, and provide transparent and complete reports to management. You should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer and verbal and written communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities as Account Executive:
Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Computing taxes.
Roles & Responsibilities as Merchandiser:
1. Product Coordination:
a. Coordinate with the design team to understand upcoming product lines and ensure readiness for launch.
b. Work closely with manufacturers to ensure that products are produced and delivered on schedule.
c. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
2. Order Management:
a. Process customer orders, ensuring that they are fulfilled accurately and delivered promptly.
b. Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on order status and resolving any issues that arise during the order fulfillment process.
3. Inventory Management:
a. Add new designs to the inventory system, including detailed product information and pricing.
b. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
c. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce overstock.
4. Quality Control:
a. Ensure that all products meet the brand’s quality standards before they are shipped to customers.
b. Coordinate with suppliers to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Market Research:
a. Stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences to suggest new products or design ideas.
b. Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for future inventory selections.
6. Support:
a. Help customers select their jewelry, facilitating a more personalized shopping experience. This entails understanding their preferences and requirements, offering expert advice on style and design options, and helping them finalize their orders to their satisfaction.
b. Provide product knowledge and support to the sales team to enhance their ability to sell jewelry products effectively.
c. Develop and deliver training materials for internal staff and external partners.
7. Collaboration and Reporting:
a. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align product availability with promotional activities.
b. Prepare and present reports on inventory status, order fulfillment metrics, and sales trends to management.
Qualification/ Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Experience in Zoho Books
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
Understanding of mathematics, accounting, and financial processes.
Attention to detail
