Accounts Executive

Job Description:
We are seeking a Accounts Executive with prior experience. The ideal candidate will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to the smooth financial operations of our logistics business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts specific to logistics operations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment to vendors and collection from clients.

• Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow related to transportation and warehousing activities.

• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns in compliance with government regulations.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting for logistics projects and operational expenses.

• Monitor freight billing, invoicing, and expense tracking for logistics operations.

• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure accurate recording of transportation costs and revenue.

• Support month-end and year-end financial closures and audit preparations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and logistics-specific financial practices.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.

• Knowledge of statutory compliance related to logistics operations (e.g., GST on freight).
