E-commerce Accountant cum Operations Executive

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Accountant cum Operations Executive to manage the financial and operational aspects of our e-commerce business. The candidate will be responsible for accounting, order/payment/return reconciliation, Tally entries, dispatch coordination, and report preparation using Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

• E-commerce Accounting & Reconciliation:

  • Maintain accurate financial records related to e-commerce transactions.

  • Reconcile orders, payments, returns, and fees from marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).

  • Handle daily accounting entries in Tally ERP.

• Operations & Dispatch Coordination:

  • Coordinate and manage dispatches of orders from various e-commerce platforms.

  • Work closely with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries.

  • Maintain dispatch records and share status updates.

• Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in Excel for order tracking, payments, and returns.

  • Monitor outstanding payments and prepare reconciliations for accounting.

• Other Administrative Tasks:

  • Support in inventory tracking and returns management.

  • Assist in improving operational processes for better efficiency.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: B.Com / BBA / M.Com or relevant field.

• Experience: 0-2 year in e-commerce accounting/operations.

• Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of Tally ERP.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Data Validation).

  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and operations.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to handle data with accuracy and confidentiality.

Salary: As per industry standards (based on experience and skills)
