About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated female Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working in a Chartered Accountancy firm, possessing a strong foundation in bookkeeping, taxation basics, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting: Maintain daily books of accounts, prepare journal entries, and manage ledgers in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books).
Taxation & Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, TDS deductions, and Income Tax computations.
Reconciliations: Perform accurate bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations on a regular basis.
Financial Reporting: Support the team in finalizing trial balances, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
Client Coordination: Interact with clients to gather necessary financial documents and resolve routine accounting queries.

Requirements

Education: B.Com, M.Com, or pursuing CA (Inter)/CS.
Experience: 6 to 12 months of active work experience or articleship under a practicing Chartered Accountant.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with Tally/other accounting software.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and good verbal/written communication.
