Job Title: HO Accountant – Fleet Department Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HO Accountant – Fleet Department to manage all accounting functions related to our company’s fleet operations. The candidate will be responsible for tracking, recording, and reporting expenses related to vehicle usage, maintenance, fuel, insurance, and statutory compliance. The role requires coordination with the fleet, admin, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Maintain up-to-date records of all fleet-related transactions (fuel, maintenance, toll, insurance, etc.).
Process and verify vendor invoices related to vehicle services and ensure timely payments.
Reconcile vehicle-related expenses with supporting documents like trip sheets, fuel bills, and service records.
Track vehicle-wise operational costs and prepare monthly expense summaries for review.
Coordinate with the Fleet Department and Admin to collect necessary documents and approvals.
Ensure proper accounting treatment for leased, hired, and company-owned vehicles.
Support the Accounts Manager in budgeting for vehicle operations and preparing MIS reports.
Maintain vehicle insurance schedules, renewals, and associated financial entries.
Assist in statutory compliance related to RTO, permits, and insurance claim settlements.
Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records for fleet assets.
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) with 2–4 years of accounting experience.
Prior experience in vehicle/fleet accounting preferred.
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and other accounting tools.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
Strong coordination skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with construction or infrastructure industry operations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
