Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and client accounts.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Generate and process client invoices in line with event contracts.
Track payments receivable and follow up for timely collections.
Manage vendor bills, verify invoices, and process vendor payments on time.
Reconcile advances given to employees/vendors and ensure settlements.
3. Event Budgeting & Cost Management
Prepare detailed budgets for each event in coordination with the operations team.
Monitor event-related expenses against approved budgets.
Highlight variances and provide cost-control recommendations.
Ensure accurate allocation of expenses to each project/event.
4. Compliance & Taxation
Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Ensure accurate filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
Stay updated with changes in taxation and financial regulations relevant to the business.
Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
5. Cash & Treasury Management
Handle petty cash and reimbursements for event teams.
Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure liquidity for ongoing projects.
Ensure timely deposits, withdrawals, and fund management.
6. Audit & Internal Control
Support internal and statutory audits by preparing required documentation.
Ensure adherence to internal financial control systems.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements in accounting practices.
7. Management Support
Assist management in preparing financial forecasts and annual budgets.
Provide insights on financial performance for decision-making.
Contribute to cost efficiency and profitability analysis of events.
