Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing Executive to manage billing operations, generate invoices, maintain billing records, and ensure timely and accurate processing of customer transactions. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, knowledge of billing software, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
Verify billing data, purchase orders, and supporting documents before invoice generation.
Maintain billing records and ensure proper documentation.
Reconcile invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
Coordinate with sales, operations, warehouse, and finance teams for billing-related requirements.
Monitor outstanding invoices and support the collections process.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements, including GST regulations.
Handle customer queries related to invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
Update billing information in ERP/accounting systems.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and customer information.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations.
Freshers with relevant accounting knowledge may also apply.
Required Skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as Tally, SAP, Zoho, Oracle, or similar software.
Good understanding of GST invoicing and taxation procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, e-commerce, distribution, or FMCG industries.
Knowledge of inventory and warehouse billing processes.
