Job Title: Accounts Executive - Real Estate

Job Summary:
The Real Estate Accounts Head is a senior professional responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations for the organization. This role involves managing a wide range of accounting functions, from daily transactional tasks to high-level financial reporting and strategic financial management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the real estate sector and a thorough understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles. They must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Management:
o Oversee the end-to-end accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
o Manage and reconcile all financial transactions, including bank accounts and cash on hand.
o Verify invoices based on purchase orders, work orders, and delivery challans.
o Prepare and process vouchers, receipts, and invoices, ensuring proper entry into respective registers.
o Maintain separate debt and credit accounts for all vendors, contractors, suppliers, consultants, and professionals.
o Handle cash and cheque remittances and ensure timely deposits.
o Mark and confirm receipt of payments from clients and customers.
o Oversee online payments and confirm bank balances.
o Manage all accounts and financial transactions for joint ventures, partnerships, and accounts of directors, partners, their families, and HUF.
Reporting & Compliance:
o File and organize invoices, proforma invoices, challans, vouchers, statutory notices, payment receipts, tax returns, and assessment bills.
o Prepare and file various tax returns, including GST, Income Tax, and other professional taxes.
o Make statutory payments to authorities such as SRA, MCGM, MSEDCL, and various government departments.
o Tally all accounts, bills, vouchers, and cash in hand.
o Prepare and dispatch correspondence to bankers and CAs, seeking acknowledgments for all sent documents and emails.
o Maintain and update all financial records and passbooks.
Payment & Record Management:
o Process payments for various operational expenses, including utility bills (electricity, water, internet), maintenance charges, and taxes.
o Prepare cheques, and process online payments via RTGS, NEFT, or other modes.
o Enter invoices, vouchers, and online payments into accounting software like Tally or other relevant programs.
o Renew contractor agreements, ensuring clear understanding of revised terms and commercials.
o Manage digital financial records by uploading and downloading documents received via email or other applications.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly preferred.
Experience:
o Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in accounting.
o Extensive experience in the real estate or construction industry is mandatory.
o Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally, is essential.
o Proven experience in managing a team and handling complex financial records.
